Job Title: Account Director

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead our client relationships and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the account team to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for the strategic development of the account, driving organic growth through the delivery of extra works and projects.
  • Act as the single point of contact for overall account operations, ensuring contractual compliance and supervising all aspects of operations.
  • Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across the account, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence and employee satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective account review, audit, and governance regimes to meet regulatory, policy, and contractual commitments.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key clients at various levels, including formal monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
  • Communicate with clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress, and other related reports.
  • Present written recommendations to clients, including economic justifications, financial reports, and monthly summary reporting.
  • Drive innovation and thought-leadership on the account, engaging with subject matter experts to provide diverse solutions to complex client problems.
  • Collaborate with other operational leaders to develop the business, ensure effective teamworking, and maintain a culture in line with the company's values.
  • Support effective business communication internally and externally, with clients, CBRE team members, supplier partners, tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 8 years or more of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues and make persuasive presentations.
  • Expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with experience in developing strategic solutions.
  • Strong commercial insight and experience managing a P&L.
