Amalgamated Bank is seeking a committed Spanish-speaking Residential Loan Officer to enhance their operations. This hybrid position entails overseeing and acquiring new residential mortgage and HELOC loan applications while engaging with Spanish-speaking clientele and referral partners.

  • Generate new residential mortgage business through both internal and external referral networks
  • Engage with clients inquiring about mortgage loan options
  • Act as a representative of the bank to potential referral sources, including real estate agents and financial advisors
  • Gather and assess loan documentation for precision
  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state lending regulations
  • Facilitate loan underwriting and mortgage advisory services
  • Possess knowledge of mortgage regulations, documentation, and forms
  • Assist in monitoring interest rates and loan processing
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in mortgage banking, fluent in Spanish

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Experience with Encompass preferred
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients outside of regular hours
  • NMLS registration or ability to obtain NMLS approval

Compensation: $62,400.00 base salary plus commissions, subject to variation based on multiple factors
