Residential Loan Officer Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Residential Loan Officer to join our commercial banking team. As a bilingual professional, you will be responsible for handling a flexible product and pricing portfolio in D.C. and collaborating with internal and external sources to develop new residential mortgage production.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Compilation of loan documentation
  • Reviewing customer documents for accuracy and completion
  • Ensuring all conditions are met for processing and closing
  • Assisting in the loan process as needed
  • Tracking rates and preparing rate surveys
  • Performing tasks to originate loans in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Coordinating preliminary loan underwriting and pre-qualification
Requirements:
  • NMLS License or Registration
  • Xinnix training
  • Experience in Encompass software or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent
  • 1-5 years of experience as a residential loan officer
  • Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Minimum volume of annual loans closed in 2023 - $10 million
  • Maintains a current referral network
  • Strong experience with loan pricing, closing loans, qualifying first time buyers, and calculating income
