Rockwell Development Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Group Facilitator to guide and support K-12 students in their social, emotional, and behavioral development.

As a Behavioral Health Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment where students can thrive. You will lead engaging group discussions, workshops, and meetings, fostering positive interactions and promoting personal growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitation Expertise: Design and conduct impactful group sessions, ensuring active participation and progress toward established goals.
  • Person-Centered Planning: Develop and implement individualized Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) in collaboration with students, families, and relevant professionals.
  • Collaboration and Support: Consult with medical and non-medical providers, engage community resources, and integrate their insights into the PCP process.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough functional needs assessments to determine service requirements and anticipated outcomes.
  • Conflict Resolution: Effectively manage conflicts that may arise during group sessions, promoting understanding and finding common ground.
  • Case Management: Connect students with essential services and referrals, ensuring seamless access to support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field with 2+ years of post-graduate experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Proven track record of success facilitating group discussions and workshops for K-12 students.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of human services and the network of providers serving individuals with mental health needs.
  • Familiarity with State Services and Definitions as outlined in MH/DD/SAS.
