Job Summary:
Tenet Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Services Director to lead our Behavioral Health Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our behavioral health program, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, and developing strategies to expand our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that govern psychiatric medical services
- Manage and oversee inpatient management and staff covering multiple programs within the BHS services
- Develop and achieve financial objectives, including staffing targets and budget management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and contracts with county and state agencies
- Work with the community to develop new opportunities to expand services offered
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field
- 5 years of experience in inpatient unit or intensive outpatient program
- AHA BLS certification
- Preferred: MFT, LCSW, or other relevant certifications
Physical Demands:
Lift/position up to 25 lbs. Push/pull up to 25 lbs. of force. Frequent sitting. Moderate standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and bending. Manual dexterity, mobility, touch, auditory to perform all the related duties of the position.
