We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Beacon Behavioral Support Services. As a Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical interventions, including group, individual, and family therapy sessions
- Assess and reassess social and emotional factors to help patients and families cope with problems in daily living and follow medical recommendations
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Counsel patients, families, and primary caregivers on the facilitation of medical treatment plans
- Document progress notes with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with mental health and therapy trends and knowledge
- Maintain strict adherence to state licensure codes of ethics and universal precautions
- Follow all facilities policies and procedures
This role requires a licensed LCSW and 1 year of therapy experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Certification in Basic Life Support and non-violent crisis intervention is also required.
