Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients, utilizing behaviorist/consultant skills, and collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians to address physical health and behavioral health needs, promoting patient health outcomes.
  • Develop and revise behavioral health curriculum for family medicine residents, ensuring content is up-to-date and aligns with current best practices.
  • Work closely with clinical team members and health students to provide education, consultation, and support in incorporating behavioral health into primary care practice.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in behavioral health and attend relevant conferences and trainings.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Arkansas licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC.
  • Clinical expertise, behavioral health curriculum development, collaboration, patient-centered care, effective communication, problem-solving, cultural competence, and time management skills.
