About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Certified Social Worker to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a Primary Care Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing integrated behavioral health services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients, utilizing behaviorist/consultant skills, and collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians to address physical health and behavioral health needs, promoting patient health outcomes.
- Develop and revise behavioral health curriculum for family medicine residents, ensuring content is up-to-date and aligns with current best practices.
- Work closely with clinical team members and health students to provide education, consultation, and support in incorporating behavioral health into primary care practice.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in behavioral health and attend relevant conferences and trainings.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Arkansas licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC.
- Clinical expertise, behavioral health curriculum development, collaboration, patient-centered care, effective communication, problem-solving, cultural competence, and time management skills.
