About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content that promotes our brand, products, and experiences to a wider audience. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to our full marketing team, including creative agency meetings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the marketing team in delivering on their social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  2. Create, edit, and publish high-quality content across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  4. Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and incorporate them into our social media strategy.
  5. Analyze social media metrics and adjust content strategies based on performance insights.
  6. Research industry trends and best practices to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and effective.
Requirements

Education

BA/BS candidate in Marketing, Communication Studies, or a closely related field.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  2. Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn required.
  3. Knowledge of social media metrics and analytics preferred.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong organizational and time-management skills required.
  6. Ability to communicate information in an organized manner, clearly and concisely.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously with an effective outcome.
  8. Ability to deal with highly confidential information.
  9. Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  10. Ability to function in a commercial office environment and utilize standard office equipment.
