About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content that promotes our brand, products, and experiences to a wider audience. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to our full marketing team, including creative agency meetings and presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the marketing team in delivering on their social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality content across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and incorporate them into our social media strategy.
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust content strategies based on performance insights.
- Research industry trends and best practices to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and effective.
Education
BA/BS candidate in Marketing, Communication Studies, or a closely related field.
Experience/Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn required.
- Knowledge of social media metrics and analytics preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills required.
- Ability to communicate information in an organized manner, clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously with an effective outcome.
- Ability to deal with highly confidential information.
- Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Ability to function in a commercial office environment and utilize standard office equipment.
