Behavioral Health Clinician Job Summary

Apree Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in addressing patients' mental health needs and supporting their overall health goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based behavioral interventions for a broad spectrum of physical and mental health problems.
  • Assess patient care using biopsychosocial models and screening instruments, identifying substance abuse problems when necessary.
  • Consult and train primary care teams on mental health, chemical dependency, and behavioral medicine.
  • Effectively communicate patient information to medical providers and other treating providers.
  • Facilitate treatment plan changes and referrals for clinically indicated services.
  • Track patient follow-up and clinical outcomes using a registry.
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations, and case presentations.
  • Actively participate in daily clinic operations, including process improvement and team-based approach development.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, behavioral science, clinical social work, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist, or Masters-level licensure candidate.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services to a wide range of ages, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with evidence-based counseling techniques, EMR systems, and coding and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience within an integrated care delivery system.
  • Flexible, high-energy level, team player, and strong interest in health and fitness.
  • Working knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments and brief behavioral interventions.

Compensation:

$37-$48/hr. (national average, premium markets may vary)
