Behavioral Health Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Support Specialist to join our team at Connections Health Solutions. As a key member of our crisis response center, you will play a vital role in providing individuals with the support and resources they need to achieve successful recovery.
About the Role
In this position, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support and advocacy to individuals in crisis. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate recovery groups and provide one-on-one support to individuals, promoting a strong and successful recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate recovery groups and provide one-on-one support to individuals in crisis.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support and advocacy.
- Identify and connect individuals with community resources to support their recovery needs.
- Document all encounters with individuals in our electronic health record.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) certification.
- Registered with the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery.
- Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to perform Safe Clinch restraint techniques.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) or ability to obtain an NPI prior to the start date.
