Insurance Sales Manager

Kemper is a leading specialized insurer seeking a high-energy Sales Manager to drive results in our Dothan, Alabama office. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising a team of licensed insurance agents to bring in new sales, conserve existing business, and provide excellent service to policyholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and recruit qualified talent for the agent position
  • Train agents on Kemper's products and sales tools
  • Supervise and monitor sales and collection activity in assigned territories
  • Conduct business inspections with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Provide in-person service to customers with and without an assigned agent
  • Regularly report to the District Manager on personal and agent performance
  • Effectively resolve conflicts with customers and employees to ensure timely and professional dispute resolution
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 2+ years of sales management or equivalent experience
  • Ability to visit customers and prospects door-to-door
  • Fully licensed to sell Kemper's products in required states
  • Valid driver's license and 100k/300k auto insurance coverage
  • Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screening
  • Authorized to work in the United States
