Virtual Care Coordinator

MUSC Strategy and Virtual Solutions team seeks a skilled Clinical Virtual Patient Coordinator, LPN to coordinate and deliver professional, clinical, quality, and educational services. This role reports to the Director of Strategy and Virtual Solutions with oversight by the Executive Medical Director.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Virtual Patient Coordinator, LPN will work to develop and ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and success of virtual care programs. This position provides expertise of clinical input and supervision during the strategy and design phases of Telehealth Service Development initiatives. The role ensures successful transition of the clinical components of new services as they enter into the implementation phase of operations.
Key Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program with six months of patient care experience required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card is required. Ability to demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care philosophy as evidenced by effective communications skills, professional demeanor, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be computer literate. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
Compensation:
Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
