Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Care Specialist to join our pediatric clinic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in our outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and follow-up appointments.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to educate them on their child's medical condition and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics or equivalent experience.
  • North Carolina Medical License and DEA certification.
  • Clean background and excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday in the clinic setting.
  • Weeknight and weekend call hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 am, averaging 1/3-4 days per month.
  • Average number of newborn admissions: 2 per day (range 0-5).
  • Daily load: 22-24 patients per day in the clinic and 2-3 patients per day during call hours.
  • Occasional ED calls, averaging 1 per week.
