Position Title:
Senior Process Engineer

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be instrumental in advancing sustainable manufacturing practices within our esteemed R&D division.

Your expertise in creating innovative products and processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and reducing environmental footprints will be crucial in this role.

Qualifications and Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; additional qualifications are advantageous. A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and environmental fields is required.
  • Expertise in process engineering, enhancement, optimization, and scaling is essential.
  • A proven track record in scaling product and process engineering, including equipment sizing and validation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sustainable production techniques, waste minimization, and quality enhancement.
  • Experience with hazardous and industrial waste management, wastewater treatment, and chemical production processes.
  • Skilled in biological filtration systems and project management.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations at local, state, and national levels.
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives in process engineering, including feasibility assessments and corrective designs.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee successful product scaling from pilot to manufacturing stages.
  • Ensure product quality through rigorous equipment sizing and process engineering design.
  • Implement process control systems for real-time monitoring of production.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients on environmental waste treatment and problem-solving.
  • Contribute to the preparation of design packages, including engineering calculations and specifications.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Support system operations and maintenance teams, assisting in planning and reporting.
  • Identify sources of contamination, perform site evaluations, and conduct audits.
