Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; a master's degree is advantageous.
  • Over 15 years of experience in manufacturing and environmental sectors.
  • Proficient in process engineering, enhancement, optimization, and scale-up methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in product and process engineering scale-up, equipment sizing, and validation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sustainable production techniques, waste reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Knowledgeable in hazardous and industrial waste management, wastewater treatment, and chemical production.
  • Skilled in biological filtration systems and effective project management.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%).

Responsibilities:

  • Direct process engineering initiatives, including feasibility assessments and remedial designs.
  • Design and refine manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure successful product scale-up through pilot and manufacturing phases.
  • Validate product quality, equipment sizing, and process engineering designs.
  • Implement process control systems for real-time production oversight.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients on environmental waste management and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the preparation of design packages, including engineering calculations and specifications.
  • Conduct risk evaluations for safety and regulatory adherence.
  • Support system operations, maintenance teams, and contribute to planning and reporting.
  • Identify sources of contamination, oversee site assessments, and perform audits.
