Job Description

Wayman Fire Protection Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base and increasing sales revenue in the tri-state area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and contact potential customers to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and identify potential sales opportunities
  • Utilize approved marketing materials to present sales presentations and proposals to prospects
  • Provide accurate forecasts of sales activity and potential sales
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products and services through in-house training, networking, and reading/research
  • Team-sell with other division associates to bring full services and solutions to prospects and existing customers
  • Required to read blueprints and install the appropriate materials accordingly
  • Participate in weekly operations meetings and direct department team meetings to set expectations and maintain open communication
  • Maintain quote and sold logs on a weekly basis
  • Create sales materials to present to customers
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of construction industry experience or equivalent technical industry experience
  • Proven consistent sales experience and ability to grow business by providing solutions to new client bases
  • Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior-level executives within the customer organizations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
