Job Description

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC, a leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manufacturing and facility equipment preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs as assigned. This will include coordinating with department owners to perform preventative maintenance as established in department procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of equipment maintenance functions and knowledge of equipment troubleshooting. They will also be able to work independently and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment as assigned.
  • Coordinate with department owners to perform preventative maintenance as established in department procedures.
  • Work independently and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Have a strong understanding of equipment maintenance functions and knowledge of equipment troubleshooting.
  • Read and understand machine blueprints, including P&ID diagrams, electrical drawings, and schematics for pneumatic, gas supply, vacuum, and high-pressure piping systems.
  • Have a basic understanding of DC, AC circuits, and measuring techniques.
  • Provide low-voltage electrical assistance while providing support for equipment installations, maintenance work orders, etc.
  • Responsible for understanding the proper use of engineering and maintenance documentation, which is required under cGMPs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates of Science degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of equipment maintenance functions and knowledge of equipment troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Responsibilities for Technician II and III:
  • Provide on-call after-hour and weekend support for facility and equipment-related issues.
  • Provide controls expertise on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), loop control, equipment, and operator interface devices.
  • Write and make revisions to documentation such as SOPs, CCRs, and critical drawings.
  • Provide technical leadership on critical repairs and new equipment installations as requested by the maintenance management staff.
