Sous Chef Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the Gourmet to Go department, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high-quality products.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Sous Chef will be responsible for:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the Gourmet to Go department, including production, sales, and customer service.
- Developing and implementing plans to improve customer satisfaction, drive sales, and increase profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA regulations and EEOC guidelines.
- Recruiting, training, and developing deli associates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Managing inventory, ordering products and supplies, and ensuring proper storage and rotation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team. A culinary degree or a combination of work experience and education is preferred.
