About the Role

Aramark is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Auburn University. This key leadership position will oversee all culinary activities, train and manage kitchen personnel, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Estimate food consumption and manage inventory to minimize waste.
  • Select and develop recipes that meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
  • Maintain presentation techniques and quality standards while planning and pricing menus.
  • Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related position with a degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of food principles and practices, including management skills and communication abilities.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
