Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is a critical role that requires a skilled professional to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment and facilities across our retail locations. This position involves significant travel (75%) across New York State, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient operation of all systems within our retail environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to retail locations across New York State to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Setup and troubleshoot point-of-sale stations, including power and internet connectivity.
  • Specify and acquire necessary items to complete approved work.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on HVAC systems, dehumidifiers, lighting, door handles/hinges, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with management to schedule regular repairs and maintenance at retail locations.
  • Troubleshoot issues with electrical circuits, internet connectivity, and facility infrastructure.
  • Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of completed maintenance tasks and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at each retail location.
  • Contribute to process improvement in preventive maintenance and scheduling.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance and general repair experience.
  • Building Maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA Certified.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional retail environment, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
