Your Future Team

As a member of TCEQ's Legal Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Resources and Ecosystem Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities, and Revived Economies (RESTORE) program. This initiative is dedicated to providing federal funding to support coastal entities in mitigating the impacts of environmental disasters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute advanced grant development, coordination, and administration tasks. Supervise the preparation, coordination, review, maintenance, and reporting of RESTORE grants, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.
  • Lead activities related to federal grant requirements for coastal projects, including the development of grant applications, contracts, and work plans.
  • Oversee project management for compliance, monitoring, and grant close-out in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide guidance on grant administration policies and assist staff with project-related challenges.
  • Act as a liaison between the agency and grant funding sources, facilitating communication and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing federal grant programs and budgets.
  • Background in coastal and marine sciences.
  • Experience in overseeing construction projects in coastal environments.

Education & Experience

Applicants should possess relevant experience in program administration or hold a degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
