Job Overview

Arbor Builders, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities for our residential construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Oversee daily on-site operations, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and trades.
  • Quality Control: Monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Communication: Collaborate with project managers and office staff to ensure project objectives are met, and provide regular reports and updates to project stakeholders.
  • Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment, and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Material Management: Supervise material deliveries from vendors, and maintain accurate records of construction activities, materials, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of previous experience working in residential/commercial construction, and/or experience managing construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards, excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Physical Demands: Physically able to climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and reach, and physically able to move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 LBS.
Additional Requirements
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a work schedule ranging from 45-50 hours per week as required to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, and permitting processes related to residential construction.
