Enrollment and Records Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
This role is pivotal in the management and upkeep of College admissions documentation for both prospective and returning students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regularly reviews the Course Plan of Study report and communicates findings to the Financial Aid department for further action.
2. Oversees the daily integration of records within the Slate CRM system.
3. Extracts the daily roster of accepted students from Slate CRM and prepares admissions decision correspondence.

4. Holds primary accountability for the acceptance and processing of applications, maintaining student records, providing referrals, and addressing inquiries related to admissions and records protocols, especially for academic programs with unique admissions criteria.

5. Acts as a knowledgeable resource on college admissions and records policies, assisting students, faculty, and staff in understanding these guidelines.

6. Processes applications, transcripts, and other relevant admissions documents, ensuring precise data entry across all pertinent systems.

7. Responds to student queries regarding their records and the status of their applications, transcripts, and other related materials.

8. Informs students about transfer credits from previous institutions and updates academic records accordingly. Collaborates with Academic Divisions to assess transfer credit evaluations.

9. Maintains both physical and digital student records in compliance with departmental and institutional standards.

10. Serves as a registrar for the Selective Service System by confirming students' registration status.

11. Provides administrative and operational support to the Welcome Center as required.

12. Assists in organizing College graduation ceremonies.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an office environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in higher education, particularly within an admissions or records office.
- Familiarity with Banner Student software.
- Experience utilizing Slate CRM.

- Proven ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of colleagues, faculty, staff, and students.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Capacity to make independent decisions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical competencies.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.

$33, $40,580.00 annually, based on experience.
