FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt, Sunday-Thursday

Role Overview: The Media Production Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive execution of the Transformation Church weekend service, harmonizing the Production, Music, and Communication components to create an immersive live experience that conveys the Gospel through TCs Vision and Values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a member of TC, commit to personal spiritual growth, embodying the Upward, Inward, Outward discipleship of Jesus Christ, expressed through the Five Characteristics of a Transformer (worship, connect, serve, give, invite).
  • Uphold the Culture of TC and exemplify the Five Cs: Character, Competency, Catalytic, Collaboration, and Chemistry.
  • Act as a specialist in the field, providing expert guidance and overseeing specific tasks and project areas.
  • Proactively identify, develop, mentor, and deploy Servant Leaders in Broadcasting in alignment with the Vision and Values of Transformation Church.
  • Regularly assess existing Broadcast activities and initiatives, creating new opportunities for ministry success.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop pathways for Broadcast Servant Leaders and enhance congregational involvement.
  • Lead, nurture, and coach Servant Leaders to promote their spiritual, personal, and professional development.
  • Work with the Weekend Services Director to explore new Broadcast initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee the Broadcast budget, making necessary adjustments throughout the year.
  • Plan and direct video content for weekend services, ministries, and special events.
  • Create videos that showcase the story, mission, and purpose of Transformation Church, communicating its significance to members and the broader community.
  • Program and execute the service flow for Broadcast segments.
  • Oversee Broadcast Analytics, documenting them to support online community growth.
  • Maintain the TC YouTube platform in partnership with the Communications team.
  • Engage in brainstorming and planning sessions to design creative and engaging worship services and events.
  • Schedule and encode audio and video, updating the online media center and other platforms.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule camera operators.
  • Maintain an organized video archive.
  • Stay informed on trends in video production and storytelling.
  • Evaluate current and future technology needs and devise acquisition strategies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends is essential.
  • TC Membership Requirement: Staff members must become members of Transformation Church within a reasonable timeframe.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A minimum of three years of experience in a ministry context is preferred.
  • Computer/Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with AVL tools, programs, and equipment; skilled in Mac-OS devices and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is necessary. Experience with Planning Center Online, CCB Church Management, and online project management tools is advantageous.
  • Certificates and Licenses: CPR/AED Certification (training provided by Transformation Church).
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises 25+ servant leaders.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: The work environment is generally moderate, with varying lighting conditions and noise levels. Occasional lifting and physical movement may be required. Specific vision and manual dexterity abilities are necessary. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
