About the Role:

IG Design Group is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to join our team in Bentonville, AR. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and developing strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data to generate detailed quantitative reports on sales revenue, sell-through, and product inventory projections.
  • Evaluate region, chain, and/or store level performance, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Conduct sku level evaluation and analysis to inform product assortment, plan-o-grams, and product placement decisions.
  • Develop and deliver recommendations to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Model and generate sales forecasts based on client historical sales and POS reports.
  • Maintain and analyze POS and sell-through reports to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on margin analysis and its impact on business performance.
  • Support ad hoc requests from various areas of the organization, including Finance, Inventory Planning, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Manage client inventory levels, replenishment requirements, and scripting of orders.
  • Serve as the lead contact and owner of client performance data.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings and calls with Sales Managers and VPs to review sales, trends, and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in statistical analysis.
  • Advanced level Excel experience (ability to independently develop new Excel models, charts, and graphs as necessary); Access experience is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze statistical data and develop relevant mathematical models.
  • Proven ability to organize and analyze large sets of data into meaningful and concise reports and propose solutions to maximize sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and varying deadlines.
