About the Role
At St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, we strive to provide exceptional patient care and a positive work environment for our employees. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Access Representative Senior to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and enter accurate demographic, personal, and financial information for patients undergoing registration.
- Ensure the correct entry of physician orders for prescribed tests, supplies, and procedures.
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, discuss payment expectations, and address any questions or concerns.
- Provide preceptorship to new hires and demonstrate expertise in patient access processes.
- Float to one or more practices as needed to support the team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a customer service-focused environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer and data entry experience preferred.
Compensation
Minimum salary: $14.93
Maximum salary: $22.39
