Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to ensure efficient and effective healthcare delivery.
- Manage patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling of appointments.
- Collect co-insurance and/or co-payments and respond to patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and track department metrics, providing reports and updates on patient access and care delivery.
- Monitor daily operational functions, interacting with patients and customers to ensure high-quality service.
- Provide guidance and training to team members to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing education and training to support department goals and patient experience.
- Identify system and workflow improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Analyze problems and provide solutions to ensure effective patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a hospital/clinic setting
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products
- 18 years of age OR older
- Ability to work a variety of shifts to support a 24-hour operating system
