Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, ensuring they live with dignity, comfort, and safety.
  • Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by supervisors.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents.
  • Document daily logs of assistance and inform supervisors of any resident issues or concerns.
  • Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents.
  • Respect residents' confidentiality.
  • Be familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

Requirements

  • CBRF Certification a plus, otherwise CBRF certification training is provided.
  • Experience in long-term care or Assisted Living.
  • Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms.
  • Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff.
