Patient Care Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Operations Coordinator to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning patient throughput activities, ensuring timely bed assignments, and mitigating issues related to patient throughput.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the patient cue to ensure timely bed assignments for patients.
- Follow algorithms to prioritize the list of patients in the cue and place them into the appropriate unit locations.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and charge nurses to determine shift staffing strategies.
- Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to shift surgical cases as needed based on patient acuity.
- Provide patient care clinical support as needed, including IV starts, patient transportation, and assisting with procedures.
- Respond to code situations and ensure immediate follow-up through debriefings and coordination of appropriate resources.
- Provide constructive feedback to nursing leadership regarding staff performance or unit-related operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- WI RN Licensure.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- ACLS and PALS Certifications preferred.
