Job Title: Automation Engineer - Server Provisioning Expert

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at United Software Group. This role will be responsible for developing automation scripts using Ansible and Ansible Tower to provision and configure servers, services, applications, and security.

About the Role:

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical part in streamlining our server management processes, ensuring efficient deployment, and maintaining high system availability. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks that integrate with our existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain complex automation workflows using Ansible and Ansible Tower
* Develop scripts and automation tools to manage and deploy servers, applications, and security configurations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes
* Optimize and refine existing automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
* Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues in a timely manner

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in automation engineering, particularly in Ansible and Ansible Tower. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and have a solid understanding of system administration principles. Additionally, experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and API development is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience working with Linux and Windows system administration
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, switching, routers, firewalls, etc.
* Basic knowledge of code version control (e.g., Git, SVN)
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and REST/SOAP APIs
