We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Building Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and configuration of integrated building control systems, ensuring they meet project requirements.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, control theory, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a Lead Building Automation Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with project teams and oversee the development of sophisticated software to optimize system functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and configure technically sophisticated building control systems as defined by contract documents.
  • Develop and test software programs vital to operate the system per the intent of the project requirements.
  • Coordinate the creation of vital drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
  • Select, order, and supervise the delivery of materials for assigned projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience, or an associate degree in a related technical field with seven years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems.
