About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team as a key member of the Medical Staff Office.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the administrative operations of our medical staff and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including scheduling, coordinating, and presenting at new provider orientations.
- Manage confidential medical staff provider records and documents.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and credentialing software to track completion and entry of documentation within provider electronic records.
- Coordinate merger, distribution, and documentation of Community Ministry Board approvals of medical staff membership and privilege actions.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with administrative assistant responsibilities within a healthcare-related organization.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Medical staff office experience or credentials verification office experience.
- Experience with web-based credentialing software.
