Position Overview:We are confident you will thrive in our exceptional work environment.
This role requires onsite presence.
We are looking for candidates to fill the following schedule:
• 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST
Note: Workdays are Monday to Friday, with weekends assigned as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage routine customer service inquiries and resolve issues through effective communication and problem-solving skills across telephone, digital, or chat platforms.
- Navigate a computerized system to respond to and troubleshoot customer queries.
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for multitasking as required.
- Proactively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting concerns to management.
Daily Activities:
- Assist over 100 customers daily by engaging in a dynamic, fast-paced call environment via phone, online, or chat.
- Employ empathy and effective communication when addressing customer inquiries.
- Utilize multiple systems to respond to, troubleshoot, and document customer interactions.
- Follow standard procedures and scripts to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Enhance the Discover Financial brand by providing exceptional care and innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Compensation:
The base salary for this position typically ranges from $18.00 to $21.75, with additional incentives available as part of a competitive compensation package. Various factors, including geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level, may influence the pay for this role.
