This role requires onsite presence.
We are currently seeking candidates for the following schedule:
• 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST
Note: Workdays are Monday through Friday, with weekends assigned as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address routine customer service inquiries and issues through telephone, digital, or chat platforms using effective communication and problem-solving abilities. These inquiries follow established protocols and procedures.
- Navigate a computerized system to respond to and resolve customer questions.
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills, while being adept at multitasking as required.
- Proactively manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues to management.
How You Will Contribute:
- Assist over 100 customers daily by engaging energetically in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment via phone, online, or chat.
- Employ empathy and effective communication skills when addressing customer inquiries.
- Utilize multiple systems to respond to, troubleshoot, and document customer interactions.
- Follow standard procedures and scripts to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Enhance the Discover Financial brand by providing exceptional care and innovative solutions.
Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Compensation:
The base salary for this position typically ranges from $18.00 to $21.75. Additional incentives may be included as part of a competitive compensation package. Factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may influence the pay for this role.
