Role Responsibilities and RequirementsWe are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Preoperative care to maintain our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Our team thrives on collaboration and support, and we are eager to welcome a new member who shares our passion for patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and care for surgical patients during the post-anesthesia phase.
- Utilize critical thinking and nursing skills to provide safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Exhibit professionalism and communication skills in all interactions.
- Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability while serving as a resource for the care team.
- Ensure accountability for delivering high-quality nursing services and promoting a positive image of the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a BSN is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular Preoperative or Recovery setting is required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License must be obtained within 90 days of hire for Compact License holders).
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
