Key Responsibilities
This is a part-time nursing role where you will:
- Provide care and manage surgical patients during the post-anesthesia phase.
- Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to deliver safe and effective nursing care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Exhibit professionalism and effective communication in all interactions.
- Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability while serving as a resource for the care team.
- Be accountable for the quality of nursing services and promote a positive image of the nursing profession.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program; a BSN is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular PreOp/Recovery setting.
- A current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
