Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Recovery, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to surgical patients during their recovery phase. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and caring for patients in the post-anesthesia recovery period.
- Applying critical thinking and nursing processes to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrating professionalism and effective communication within the unit.
- Supporting teamwork and serving as a resource for the patient care team.
- Upholding accountability for the quality of nursing services provided.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular PreOp or Recovery setting.
- A valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
