About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular PreOp team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period.
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular PreOp/Recovery room setting is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
