We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford University. This is a tenure-track position that offers a unique opportunity to develop an outstanding research program and contribute to the education and mentoring of the next generation of scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a world-class research program in neuroscience, broadly defined, with a focus on understanding the nervous system at the molecular, cellular, and circuit level.
  • Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a commitment to developing first-rate teaching skills.
  • Contribute to the department's research and teaching mission, with a focus on fostering an inclusive academic environment for colleagues, students, and staff.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in neuroscience, genetics, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering, cell biology, or a related discipline.
  • Postdoctoral research experience, with a strong track record of research accomplishments and a commitment to developing teaching skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, lead a research group, and mentor students.
