About the Role

We are recruiting a Clinician Educator as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in pediatric heart failure and heart transplantation, as well as longitudinal care of the patient with univentricular heart. The ideal candidate will have a medical degree (MD) or equivalent, clinical training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology, and be board eligible/certified.

Responsibilities
  • Outpatient clinics in heart failure and transplantation, including attending in the clinic and covering telephone consults and questions in conjunction with the NP staff.
  • Inpatient responsibilities including covering the PACT service in the ACCU and CVICU units, with weekend and overnight call.
  • Outreach clinics in heart failure and transplantation.
  • Supervision and clinical support of advanced practitioners in heart failure, VAD, and transplantation.
  • Outpatient care in the Comprehensive Single Ventricle Program.
  • Supervision of providers in the Comprehensive Single Ventricle Program and overall program direction.
What We Offer

Stanford University offers a competitive salary range of $282,000 - $422,000, depending on faculty rank and years in rank. We also offer a wide range of benefits, including housing assistance. Our faculty compensation program includes a base pay, as well as pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
