Job Title:

Hematology Physician Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Hematology Physician Scientist to join our team at Stanford University. The successful candidate will be appointed as Assistant or Associate Professor in the University Medical Line (UML) and will be expected to contribute to the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in hematologic malignancies with relevance to acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, or multiple myeloma.
  • Teach residents and fellows, as well as Divisional teaching responsibilities within the Department of Medicine.
  • Attend in the outpatient clinic in the Cancer Center, and the Hematology inpatient services at Stanford Hospital.
  • Conduct weekly outpatient clinic sessions.
Requirements:
  • MD, or MD/PhD with a subspecialty focus in Hematology.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in hematology or oncology.
  • Ability to obtain a CA medical license.
