Faculty Position in Radiation Oncology

Stanford University's Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a talented Radiation Oncologist to join its faculty in the Clinician Educator line. This position will involve general radiation oncology practice and practice building at our network locations in San Jose and East Bay California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with cancer
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using multi-modality treatment planning techniques
  • Participate in local tumor boards and identify patients for clinical trial participation
  • Collaborate with departmental faculty to further develop treatment programs at Cancer Center South Bay and Cancer Center East Bay
Requirements
  • M.D. degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency program
  • Medical licensure in California by the start date
  • Strong experience in clinical care and program building at an outpatient cancer center setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multi-modality treatment planning, image-guided radiotherapy, and stereotactic body radiotherapy
  • Interest in clinical sarcoma, lymphoma, and breast radiation oncology

The expected base pay range for this position is $354,000 - $384,000 for Clinical Assistant Professor, $431,000 - $461,000 for Clinical Associate Professor, and $496,000 - $533,000 for Clinical Professor.
