Faculty Opportunity in Emergency Medicine at Stanford University

Stanford University's Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our team as a full-time faculty member in the Clinician Educator Line. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor, depending on their qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in the emergency department at Stanford Hospital, a world-renowned academic medical center.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in emergency medicine.
  • Participate in research and scholarly activities, including health innovation and information technology to advance and optimize the delivery of emergency care.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Eligibility for licensure in California.
  • Strong clinical and teaching skills.
  • Experience in health innovation and information technology is highly desirable.
