POSITION SUMMARY:
The role involves executing intricate administrative functions and delivering support to a department leader or manager. Additionally, this position may include training clerical staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafts business communications, reports, and presentations using a personal computer.
- Creates and prepares standard correspondence for review and signature.
- Organizes and maintains confidential files and documentation.
- Reviews and corrects documents for grammatical, punctuation, and spelling accuracy.
- Manages calendars and schedules meetings; handles incoming and outgoing correspondence and follows up on action items.
- Participates in departmental meetings; records notes and prepares/distributes minutes.
- Introduces new employees to the organization's policies and procedures.
- Handles phone inquiries and directs calls appropriately.
- Procures and manages office supplies and equipment.
- Operates office machinery and provides guidance to others on their use.
- Supports the center's objectives and adheres to the established policies.
- Encourages a constructive work atmosphere by embodying career success standards and core values.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Capability to produce standard business documents, forms, contracts, and presentations; proficient in utilizing internet search tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail with exceptional documentation and organizational abilities; effective time management skills.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in software applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Skilled in operating office equipment.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must hold a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
