The Patient Access Liaison II serves as the primary contact for facilitating access to medical services at our healthcare facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth communication flow between patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and electronic messages, utilizing a call management system.
  • Address basic inquiries and direct more complex questions to the appropriate medical personnel.
  • Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments, ensuring accurate patient registration and insurance verification.
  • Perform data entry tasks, maintaining data integrity and reconciling information as necessary.

Work Environment:
  • Initial training will be conducted on-site for a duration of three months, after which the role may transition to a remote setting based on performance.
  • Flexible working hours are required, including staggered shifts and potential weekend availability.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a call center or customer service role within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational certifications in healthcare-related fields such as appointment scheduling or medical assisting.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
