Job Title: Construction Project Supervisor

Are you prepared to embrace a dynamic and fulfilling position? Join our organization as a Construction Project Supervisor, where you will be instrumental in managing and engaging in the planning, preparation, review, and assessment of designs and specifications for construction and design of state facilities.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare documentation for project planning, progress tracking, and completion phases.

• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.

• Estimate project expenses and oversee multiple projects concurrently.

• Draft specifications for scopes of work and conduct research on various systems and materials.

• Actively engage in pre-bid and bidding discussions with stakeholders.

• Serve as a communication bridge between the overseeing authority and the Construction Management Office.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

• Stages of construction projects.

• Relevant building codes and legal regulations.

• State procurement processes.
Skilled in:

• Interpreting construction plans and specifications.

• Risk management and conducting construction inspections.

• Building effective professional relationships.
Ability to:

• Manage extensive projects efficiently.

• Estimate construction costs and troubleshoot issues.

• Read and interpret blueprints and utilize project tracking tools.

• Communicate in a clear and professional manner.

Selective Preference(s):

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and experience in evaluating building plans, conducting inspections, and estimating construction costs. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Travel may be necessary.

• Background check and eligibility for a security access card are mandatory.
