POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Hybrid Cloud Solutions Engineer, your role will be pivotal in delivering streamlined solutions to intricate challenges. Your expertise will help ensure that our operations are secure today and more intelligent tomorrow. We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared professional to support our intelligence clientele.

The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with a high-performing development team to automate service deployments, enhance system performance, integrate with enterprise authentication services, improve system monitoring, uphold security protocols, and provide technical support to clients. You will thrive in an agile environment, actively participating in scrums and collaborative meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across various security domains in both cloud and on-premises (vSphere) settings.
  • Support OpenShift operators and frameworks such as Crossplane, Kyverno, and RedHat GitOps.
  • Facilitate the deployment of OpenShift to new locations as they become operational.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration needs and scale existing platforms accordingly.
  • Work alongside Security teams to ensure compliance and develop secure solutions.
  • Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency with Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments.
  • Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, and Git.
  • Understanding of container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem.

Desired Certifications:

  • RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Platform as a Service offerings (e.g., RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc.).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
