Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a motivated entry-level Accountant who is keen to apply their academic knowledge and learn from industry leaders. The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest in accounting principles and a curiosity about the dynamic cryptocurrency landscape. This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a team of dedicated crypto accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple client accounts consistently
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with clients
  • Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online
  • Support vendor onboarding and process invoice entries on a weekly basis
  • Lead month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Collaborate with clients to manage payroll processing
  • Assist in tracking cost basis for cryptocurrency transactions and reconciling crypto wallets
  • Generate financial statements and management reports for various business entities
  • Prepare year-end 1099 forms
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline (recent graduates preferred)
  • Enthusiasm for learning about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Effective communication skills with team members, clients, and vendors
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service and achieving high satisfaction
  • Proactive in staying informed about evolving accounting practices in the cryptocurrency sector
