We are currently in search of a seasoned, full-time Account Supervisor to enhance our dynamic PR team. The ideal candidate is a media enthusiast with a knack for innovative thinking and a proven ability to lead client initiatives. This position will report directly to the Account Director and will be instrumental in shaping and executing public relations strategies that resonate with our consumer clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies that align with client objectives and brand identity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic guidance and serving as the primary liaison.
  • Identify and engage with local, regional, and national media contacts across various platforms to foster positive media relations.
  • Generate and pitch compelling story ideas and angles to secure ongoing media coverage for clients.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and news to identify strategic PR opportunities for clients.
  • Create and distribute a variety of press materials and content to achieve earned media placements (including key messages, press releases, articles, and blog posts).
  • Coordinate client interviews, ensuring spokespeople are well-prepared and that key messages are effectively communicated.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and sharing industry insights.
  • Evaluate and enhance PR department processes to improve communication and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our integrated team to ensure cohesive execution of PR messaging across all channels.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a public relations role with a proven track record in hospitality and consumer media relations.
  • Agency experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape with established contacts in local, regional, and national consumer news media.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in media monitoring tools to deliver impactful reports and demonstrate client ROI.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or public relations.
  • Open to remote candidates with some travel requirements.
