Overview:
The Senior Clinical Pharmacy Programs Strategist plays a crucial role in enhancing, formulating, and executing initiatives that align with PacificSource's Clinical Pharmacy objectives and management priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical program strategies that resonate with organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough market and competitive analyses to pinpoint opportunities for innovative clinical programs.
- Formulate strategic plans detailing program objectives, goals, and success metrics.
- Design, execute, and oversee clinical programs that cater to patient care needs and enhance clinical outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor and assess program performance, making data-informed adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, payers, regulatory entities, and other vital stakeholders.
- Facilitate workgroups and committees to gather insights and propel program development.
- Present program strategies and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders for endorsement and support.
- Utilize data analytics to guide clinical program development and evaluate performance.
- Maintain dashboards and reports to monitor program metrics and outcomes.
- Conduct outcome analyses to assess the effectiveness of clinical programs.
- Provide structured project management for clinical initiatives, ensuring timely and within-scope completion.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet program objectives.
- Lead quality enhancement initiatives to improve patient care and safety.
- Implement evidence-based practices and protocols within clinical programs.
- Track and analyze quality metrics to identify and address areas for improvement.

Supporting Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacy leadership to refine processes, systems, reporting, and services provided by the department.
- Assist clinical pharmacy with data for DUR reports, including FWA data, formulary evaluation, and metrics necessary for monitoring clinical team performance.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in clinical program management or a similar role within a managed care organization, with a proven track record in healthcare integration, process development, and program implementation.
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include public health, mathematics, statistics, data or computer science, or related research fields. A post-graduate degree is preferred.

- Adaptability and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical performance metrics, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Work Environment:
- General office setting with ergonomically configured equipment.
- Travel is less than 5%.
